There is no official Consumer Reports ranking for permanent outdoor lighting companies yet, so beware of anyone claiming a #1 badge. What you can compare is specs, warranty, and install quality, and we will happily be judged on all three.
The checklist that separates the best from the rest
Brightness: ask for the lumen figure per light, in writing. Ours output 72 lumens each, enough to wash a wall rather than dot a roofline; many consumer systems are far dimmer.
Individually addressable pixels: without them, no patterns, no chases, no per-light color control. Ours also split into as many as eight zones per controller, each running its own scene at once.
Certification: ask exactly what is UL rated, not whether the brand "is UL." Every component in our system is, tested by outside labs.
Track, not clips: powder-coated aluminum track color-matched to your fascia disappears by day. Exposed clips and visible wire runs do not.
Warranty you can hold someone to: the product is backed for 5 years and our workmanship for 1 year.
